Cheap deal to Central / South America from Vancouver

Hi,

We're a group of budget Australian travellers living in Vancouver and would like anyone's ideas about a good destination in either Central or South America for about a week around September. If anyone has any suggestions of cheap inclusive deals or airlines that would be great.

We're looking for a destination that is exotic, exciting, adventurous, interesting, fun and overall, CHEAP!

It seems rediculous to fly to South America for a week. Even if you find a deal its still going to be relatively expensive and a tiring flight. If all you have is a week I'd concentrate on going to Mexico. There are several new airlines in Mexico with budget flights...read the FAQs on the Mexico branch and do a search.

Come to Costa Rica, all what you ar looking for you will find it in Cabo Matapalo!
It doesn´t get as exotic anywhere else
