Budget options in San Juan Del Sur

My buddy and I are headed down there for 10 days next month. Other than Casa Oro, are there any other budget options that we should consider? It's hard to find anything on the web other than expensive places or Casa Oro. Thanks in advance.

One block off the main ocean front drag, we walked the residential houses and found a bedroom for rent. It was a young guy named Marcos who rented us the bedroom for 100 cord's, about $6.50 a night U.S.
He has about 3 extra bedrooms.

I stayed at Casa Oro but just down the street is Big Wave Dave's which I hear is pretty sweet. I had some friends staying there and they really liked it. Casa Oro definitely has more of the backpacker atmosphere but you can't bring in outside alcohol. We ended up drinking on the curb in the town wide blackouts almost every night.
