I don't know if there's someone who's stopped over Brazil and Panama during the same trip....I wonder if living cost in both countries is similar or to travel within Panama is still more expensive than my homecountry considering food, transport, leisure and housing.

Also I wonder if it's worthwhile to live in Panama City because a short time ago was hailed as the best Latin American city to live even better than Curitiba, Brazil.

Sorry about my silly English mistakes....

You have any idea what your even talking about?

Panama's population and size, is almost a like a suburb of Rio?

Brazil is the GIGANTIC, and Panama is spec on the map....

Not sure what you are talking about investors... Panama city is of course more expensive than the rest of the country. Housing is in the 500+ per month range. Food and stuff can be expensive or cheap. It really depends on your lifestyle. Travel within the country is cheap. Taxis and buses are very cheap. Hotels, once again, depends on your lifestyle.

If I was "investing" in a country, I would make sure that I spent a lot of time there.

both curitiba & panama city have the same population...but the similarity mostly ends there...

curitiba is cleaner, safer, more expensive, different language.

.. panama city is sea level on the pacific & closer to the atlantic than curitiba which is in the mountains

...both have train access to the atlantic...2 hours to colon from panama city

... twice as long a train ride to paranagua from curitiba & twice as enjoyable...one of the greatest short train rides in the world

..if you got the extra $$$ & portuguese is no problem & you don't need the ocean at your doorstep...it's panama city
