Belize - Trip review

Following on from our week in Guatemala (see Guatamala page)..we then had a week in Belize

We crossed the border and we got a lift to San Ignacio. As it was Saturday we explored the market and had an amazing lunch at Annie's which is opposite the market. We then took a taxi from San Ignacio to our lodge - Table Rock. Table Rock was perfect ... the owners really have perfected everything. We did some tubing in the lodge and the following day did the ATM tour with Pacz.

From San Ignacio we took the express bus down to Belize City and took the water taxi to Caye Caulker. Here we stayed at Seaside cabanas - it was nice to have a swimming pool and be so close to everything. Spent lots of time chilling and swimming in the sea at Lazy Lizards. We did one day of diving (blue hole, half moon caye and the aquarium). The diving was brilliant and despite some of the negative reviews we were very impressed with Frenchies - the people and the equipment.

Our favourite resaturant in Caye Caulker was Rainbow.

On last day we took we water taxi back to Belize city and then taxi to airport (standard price for this seems to be $25)

I'm not sure if you will have an answer to this question but I figured I will ask. I am planning on staying at Tina's on Caye Caulker (doing more a backpack feel) and I was wondering if you heard any negative comments about it while you were there? I've read some issues about bed bugs and I wasn't sure if they were warranted or not. Definitely do not want to deal with bed bugs. Thanks again for the reviews.
