Belize during christmas

Hi!

Me and my friend is going to central america in december/january. We dont have a set schedule for this trip. I looks like we will be in Belize during christmas. Does anyone know if we have to book hostels in advance during this period or can we most likely book it when we arrive (even if we arrive for example 23/12)?

Where will you be? I would say yes book in advance in most places, definitely on Caye Caulker.

Hostels and most lower budget hotels/guesthouses in the main tourist destinations will be full. If you don't book in advance, you would be lucky to find a bed at a hostel, but you could probably still get a room at a higher priced hotel.
