ALL INCLUSIVES IN BELIZE???Country forums / Central America / Belize
Has anyone know of any all inclusive hotels (including meals, drinks, alcohol and non-alcohol). There will be around 10 of us going on a family birthday reunion so it would be so much easier if it was all inclusive. We would like a nice resort type hotel and will be staying around 6 nights. Some want to do scuba diving, some just relaxing so we have a mixture of very adventurous people and couch potatoes that want to lay around in a nice hotel and sip pina coladas!!! lol Thanks for any advice.
The three "real" all-inclusives in Belize are Mopan River Resort inland in Cayo, Cocoplum Caye off Dangriga, and Kanantik on the coast between Hopkins and Placencia. All have websites, and all are pretty expensive. Mopan River Resort is the best value of the three, as it includes everything, from rooms and meals and drinks to tips, taxis, transfers and trips, including to Tikal, in the price. Some of the other remote jungle and dive lodges do semi-all-inclusive packages (meals, lodging, tours/diving/fishing) but usually not alcohol, or only some alcohol. Some other hotels will put together an all-inclusive package, but overall Belize is really not an all-inclusive destination. For that, try Playa del Carmen in the Yucatan. --Lan Sluder | 1
I should have also included Cayo Espanto, which is AI ... but tremendously expensive (like around US$2000 a day including service and taxes). | 2
