My wife and I will be in Panama for 3 weeks this summer. Is it possible to get a sim card for my cellphone. I have an old Nokia, from maybe 10 years ago that I use prepaid when I am in the U.S., and I also have a chap Samsung from Thailand, in which I can switch Thai simcards easily. I was hoping that one of these, especially the Thai phone, would be usable in Panama if they sell simcards there.

I'll be going to Bocas Del Toro from Atlanta in February. Looks like flights are cheapest into San Jose.
I've read there are buses from San Jose to Bocas but am not sure exactly how to take them. If anyone has detailed instructions I'd appreciate it! And are the buses safe for a lone female traveler, or should I look into a shuttle?

1) Is it possible to take the metro from Tocumen Airport to the financial district? We fly in at 10pm on a Saturday. I have read previously that they don't sell the metro card at the Airport, so it's not possible for tourists to take the Metro form the airport. Is this still true?
