Sure you can hit all 3 spots in 2 weeks. After landing in Panama City, the port town gateways
of El Porvenir and Carti with San Blas (Kuna Yala) are 3 hours by shuttle. After 3 days in the Kuna Yala,
you'd return to P.C. and catch a bus to Santa Catalina- the great beach town from where Coiba National
Park is 12 miles offshore. ( see the town's website: santacatalinabeach.com) It's about 7 hours by bus
from PC to Santa Catalina, which has great surfing and fishing as well. Leaving Santa Catalina, you'd
bus to the city of David with a few connections, and then connect a further 1 hour to Boquete from where you'd connect to the
western entrance to La Amistad National Park. Two weeks is plenty of time.

Neo- Actually, the approach to La Amistad NP is through Las Nubes, about 5 miles from Cerro Punta.
Buses from David to Cerro Punta take about 2.25 hours. I don't know if you'd have a car or be busing it-
but thebusschedule.com has the scoop. To get to Santa Catalina from Panama City, it's 4 hours to Santiago where you connect to a bus to Sona which takes 1 hour. Then in Sona, it's a 1.5 hour bus to
Santa Catalina. If you return to Santiago to continue on to David, it's 1 hour by bus to Sona, then 1.5 hr
to Santiago, then 3 hours to David, then onward to Cerro Punta. If you get pressed for time, there are
always flights from David returning to Panama City on Air Panama.

Hello
Thank you very much for your answers.
I will travel without car. Only bus and flights are possible.

I have found the bus website.
ther are 2 possibilitis
10.20-14.20 nach Sona 07.30-11.00 nach Santiago
16.10-18.10 nach Santa Catalina 11.00-12.00 nach Sona
12.00-14.00 nach Santa Catalina

will i catch the bus in Santiago when it arrive at 11 and the next leave at 11 too?

is it possible to come from Boquete to the western entrance.
i thought it is only possible from Cerro Punta via David.

for diving i am in contact with a dive center. Scuba Coiba
They offer from 09.10.12 a 3 day trip with 9 dives in Coiba.

i am very happy about answers

The bus connection may work out- you never can be certain. For La Amistad National Park's
western entrance take the bus to Cerro Punta from David (not Boquete as I first thought). You have 2
entire weeks so if the weather is rainy on the caribbean side
you may want to adjust your itinerary regarding Kuna Yala (San Blas Islands) as rain is quite likely
there. The waters around the San Blas islands may be silted up and not real clear. At Coiba
National Park visibility for diving should be much better as it's 12 miles offshore and silting should not be
as much of a problem. Have a great trip!
