I am set to go August 15, 2012 but my passport (U.S.) expires September 25, 2012. I found a site that indicates a passport good for 3 months is required. Is this strictly enforced, enforced at all?

Panama immigration may not enforce it, but the airline you fly may. You may not be allowed to board the flight. To be safe rather than very sorry, I'd get it renewed.

Thank you for the post. I just had the same thought after reading such stories and overnight shipped my expedite renewal. So now Panama gets to be #1 in the new book. I hope they still send the old passports back.
