Estimated length of taxi ride between international terminal (PTY) and Albrook terminal (PAC), please.
Our flight from the U.S. lands in PTY at 1305 hrs and last flight out to David same day from PAC on Aeroperlas departs at 1610 hrs. Will we have enough time to catch that flight to David within this three-hour window (de-plane, claim bags, immigration, taxi ride to Albrook, check-in with Aeroperlas)?
Just need to know if we are cutting it too close. This will be on Saturday, April 4.
A lot depends on traffic- traffic in Panama City can be horrible but if the driver takes the toll road it should be fine. Immigration and Customs move pretty fast and without traffic it is less than a 25 min. drive.
Based on our experience last year it should get out of the International Airport about half an hour after arrival of your flight and between 60 to 90 minutes for you to get to the Allbrook domestic airport. Normal check-in time at Allbrook normaly is about 30 minute, but you would probably be allowed to check in as little as ten minutes before your flight. Unless your arrival at the International Airport is substantially delayed you should not have a problem making the connection.
