Heliconiidae bocas del toro

We stayed there last week. It's on Isla Colon, but there's no road to it, although there are other houses around it. You can walk to town, but it's easier to go by water. The owners, Erwin & Hilde, took us to town a couple of times a day and gave us a cell phone to call them when we wanted to a ride back. It's a very friendly, homey atmosphere and we really enjoyed our time there. It really felt like staying with friends. Not ideal if you want to be right in town, but it worked for us.
