The next 10 days there are several fiestas in the Azuero Peninsula,the heart and soul of old Spanish colonial Panama.

Santa Ana Beach 26-28 July.2012

Traditional dancing,music,food(lots of seafood) and always a good time. Santa Ana is only 10 bu from Chitre,and 3.5 hours from Panama City and 4 hours from David City(via Divisa).

Founder's Day Parita,4 August,2012

Lots of horsemen,a rodeo and bullfights!.Plus.live music,dancing and lots of action during this 1 day fiesta!
Parita has interesting old colonial streets,houses and one of the best preserved colonial towns in Panama.The town church dates from 1556. Also,the internationally famous Diablicos maskmaker,Dario Lopez has his workshop on the north end of PArita and always welcomes impromptu visitors.
Parita is only 15 minutes from Chitre by bus or taxi.

Si,lots of Seco,beers and of course the more you drink the more extraordinarily beautiful the women are!
THe fiesta dates are now 4-6 of August now. Till Monday night now!
