Is anyone in bocas del toro right now or has been there lately? It would help me a lot if anyone could tell me about the weather there right now, because of all the storms.
It would also be nice if someone has a tip which Island I should go to, to have nice heavenly beaches

Keep in mind the weather maps in these parts, regardless of country or coast, show rain rain from May to Dec. Actually, you can expect afternoon showers on average in rainy season, but, it all depends where you are. If there is a Tropical Low, then its another story, and can be days of rain...
I dont know why you keep up with the whole afternoon showers bit. It almost never does that in Bocas. Usually at night and in the morning ... Today was the first sunny day in 3 weeks of serious rain(and heavy lightning and thunder) but it looks like the rain is gone. It has been dry couple of years so the rain was kind of surprising. I love it myself but I understand how a tourist might not like it.
