I'm still keeping an eye out for all of the "Se Vende" signs on the vehicles driving around here, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips on online classifieds or paper publications for this area.

Thanks MrB. I contacted him and he promptly referred me to an expat that sells used vehicles in this area!

Much appreciated. And if anyone else is wondering the same thing and runs across this post, you can find David MacDonald on boquete.ning - looks like he's the go-to guy around here for quality vehicles and trustworthiness!

Most major Car-Rental companies do run their own used-car sales.
You could try to contact Thrifty, Hertz, Avis, Budget in Panama and inquire for used cars available in David.

Another update for anyone interested - found the perfect ride and everything went very smoothly with the transfer - Panama Automotive in David, just off the highway past McD's. Marvin Morgan and Walter Guerra operate the place, and can also assist with other vehicle needs too!
