I will be in Panama for 3 weeks... and I want to spend a week or so kicking back in a beach resort... and they all look good.
I need a good hotel with internet as I will be working part time on my laptop .....so much for my hippy backpacking days :-( Aaaah... those were the days!
Any suggestions? Hopefully I will meet some backpackers while there as still consider myself a total backpacker trapped in the body of a businessman with a Blackberry and wingtips.... haha

The whales (ballenas jorobadas) have arrived this week at Isla Tobago, an easy day-trip from Ciudad de Panama on the Pacific.
Bocas del toro or the inland jungle of Bocas del drago seldom disappoint a real traveller.
in Panama City, lots of great cheap hotels, luxury hotels do not even take it - just money overpay. Almost everywhere there is internet access, in all decent bars and restaurants have Wi-Fi. I advise all to go to the Pearl Islands, on the Contador to stay in Punta Galeon, but there are cheaper places out there. I live in Coronado, there are good beaches, you can surf and a lot more than. We have lots and lots of restaurants. In El Valle, a good climate - a town in the crater of the volcano - there is a couple of excellent hotels and restaurants. Bocas del Toro - just be sure - other than small islands, you can wait for night landing relic of turtles on the beach (it's Sapatilos), on Bastimentos Red Frog excellent beach, and hotels there, and surfing. In fact, Bocas also recommend this hotel: Tropical Suites. There is a number you can hire a boat for the day. There is white water rafting in the bouquet, where you can pretty much dive.
