Just wondering if anyone has gone windsurfing in Nicaragua, and if so where and were they able to rent the equipment etc. I tried searching online but wasn't able to come up with anything useful.
Cheers

Lot of places to windsurf in Costa Rica, but now its all about Kite Surfing, wind surfing is very 90's...lol

i believe the question was about nicaragua, not costa rica.
and an actual helpful answer might be....
try playa maderas. Its about 15-20 minutes north of san juan del sur. (sometimes called punta quilla, or playa marsella). There are a number of surf spots in that area, and places that rent out surf equipment as well. To be honest, i dont know which offer the best, or at all. But im sure if you go there, they can point you in the right direction. I know people that have rented windsurfing stuff there before.
I have seen people windsurf in laguna de apoyo, and on the water in granada as well, but i think they brought their own equipment, as i dont know anywhere in those areas you can rent them there.
If you are going to the carribean side, specifically to corn islands, there is a place called casa iguana which is a diving place. My friend said that they dont directly rent them, but there are people on the island that have the equipment, and they put you in touch with them so you can rent their equipment from them.
