I would like to volunteer in Granada teaching children. Does anyone know of any organisations I can do this with? (without having to pay to volunteer!)

Check out www.la-esperanza-granada.org It is the most established, best run volunteer org in Granada

I will second the advice in #1.
I haven't volunteered with them so it's not first-hand but I did do a walking tour with them and was impressed at how transparent their are with their financials and they do monthly news updates via email detailing every penny and material item donated.
