Hi there. After a few weeks of emails and waiting to reserve a spot i find out that there will be no volcano tours for the dates we will be in Leon. We are even havng trouble reserving surfing Cerro Negro. Does anyone know if you can sign up the day before the tours? And a recommendation other than Quazetaltrekkers?

It was a few years ago, but I used Bigfoot Hostel to surf at Cerro Negro, not sure if you tried them. I think that Tierra Tours also does the volcano surfing and I am pretty sure they do volcano tours/hiking, although I used Quetzaltrekkers for that. Good luck
I was just there in June, everywhere offers the tours and can hook you up with someone, most likely your accommodation will even have a tour that you can book. You could also try Tierra Tour as well.
Alot of places have specific days that they start the tour so you may have to wait a day or two when you arrive in order to get on one though.
