In most places this is $1, but the hustlers are always asking $10 (250 cordovas)...

Any tips on how to get a lower price? How much can this cost?

Hello!
We paid 5 $ for a bicycle rikscha for two persons, it is still a tourist price, but it was hard work for the driver with our two backpacks (we went from Riva to San Jorge)
Coming out from the bus so many taxidrivers try to "catch" us, we decided to take the rikscha, it was a nice way to go..
I think the taxidrivers wanted 4 or 5 $, 10 $ is too much, it´s only a ride of a few minutes....

We went from Rivas to San Jorge and back 3 times in November-December. Best is to walk away from the bus and get a taxi a bit further on. We managed to talk them down to $2 per person but once going from San Jorge to Rivas a driver told us $1 per person without us even trying to bargain. So it should still be $1 per person and I guess $2 per person is fine but often taxi drivers do try to get $5 and more...
