My boyfriend and I plan to spend 3 months in Nicaragua and want to rent a place instead of paying for a hotel each night. Does anyone know of a website or any places on the Pacific side (north of Rvias)?

YES. Go to San Juan del Sur. You can rent any of several nice little houses just outside of town (or even in town) for as little as $100 a week. I rented one about five minutes out of town and about 20 minutes from Playa Madera, which is one of my fave beaches on the whole CA pacific coast. Hopefully, you can score a house like that too. Using the Pacific beaches as a base will have its limits to explore Nica, and SJDS I would avoid. Beaches near Leon would be more authentic.

Thanks for the advice everyone! We've spent time in Nicaragua already so we don't want to explore the country as much as immerse ourselves in a town. I'm looking more north like Jiqulillo (want to skip SJDS this time) any leads in that area would be great.
