One more question I thought of. What type of clothes will I need in Nicaragua in December? I assume it will be pretty hot but isn't it cooler at Mombacho? Will I need warmer clothes anywhere else?

December is the best month. It is windy, dry, and comfortable instead of really, really hot. You may even need a light jacket in the evenings. Be sure to take a light jacket to Mombacho with you.
