Looking for a tranquilo, quiet Pacific beach spot with surfing. Spent some time in Playa Maderas (Majagual) and loved it, to give an idea of what I´m looking for. Not looking to spend more than $20-30 per night for a place. Any suggestions? I have heard a few things about Popoyo and Gigante, but not about places to stay ...

Check out this place in Popoyo. It's not on the beach, but it is in your price range. popoyo rental. The thing to remember is that not too many rentals have websites or advertising. I suggest reserving a couple nights in this place, then looking around for something better and closer to the breaks.
