Does anyone have knowledge of this Ecolodge? If so what will the temps be like the end of March or beginning of April? And I guess mosquitoes are part of the package?

All coastal and low lying areas along the Pacific are hot and humid, and Nicaragua is no exception, in fact, can be stuffier and more oppressive heat, due to the dark colored sand, and also the fact its all arid ranch country and little elevation...

Can think of 20 better beaches and lodges in Costa Rica, that are not isolated and guarded from the locals.

Stopped by on a day trip, its a beautiful location, wish i had the money to stay the night. March and April will be hot, it will be dry season so you shouldn't expect too many mosquitoes. Temps will always be lingering in the 90s. Enjoy your time!

Not sure why anyone would anyone would pay 200-300 bucks a person to stay anywhere in nicaragua.
That is absolutely ridiculous.

But hey, if you got the money.....

Mosquitos will be at a lower level since its the end of the dry season. All bugs will be at their lowest level.....but it is still tropical, so having a lesser amount of bugs is relative.
Daytime temps will hover around 100 and nighttime isnt a ton cooler. Still in the 80s. You are coming at almost the hottest part of the year.

Also i highly disagree with the prolific poster above who generally hates on nicaragua from trips years and years ago. Nicaraguan is way better than costa rica in my opinion. (Although my opinion is largely based on the fact that costa rica is extremely overpriced and expensive, and if you can afford a few hundred dollars a night, you may not notice a difference. Costa rica is cleaner and prettier.)

I splurged and rented a vacation rental from the Balcones de Majagual, about 5-10 minutes north of Morgan's Rock. It was unreal. 15 minute nice hike to the Pacific, pretty isolated, same architect as the Morgan's Rock, and you get the entire place to yourself. You'll need to grocery shop, and it's a bit of a 4 x 4 to SJDS, but damn we had a good time. So beautiful.
