Hello All!
I am heading to Nicaragua in May and I was wondering if there is a bus that goes directly to Esteli, or if I need to go to Leon first. I obviously would rather go directly to Esteli. I've looked through the forum, but cannot find a direct answer. Thanks in advance for your help.
Mercado Mayoreo you want. One probably leaves every hour or less. Most (or all)of these go no where near Leon though.

You can catch the bus to Estelí from right in front of the airport, so no need to even go into Managua proper if you're arriving by air (and the airport is even on the correct side of the road). The bus won't stop unless you flag it down though, so wear your glasses if you need them and let anyone you're waiting with know where you're headed so they can held you keep an eye out.
