Will be traveling South from Mississppi during this time..... I want to fish, and white water raft, and dive, etc etc. Any and all suggestions are welcomed. Also I would like to if anyone has been in the area during this time period? And will I be able to meet alot of people along the way? Others Travlers?

So, you are flying into Managua and leaving from San Jose?

Diving- Corn Islands and Drake Bay/Isla Cano Corcovado CR
Rafting- Rio Paquare Costa Rica
Fishing- Depends if your talking freshwater, river or deep sea. Tarpon fishing in northeast CR is great. There is also trout fishing, and lots of Deep Sea fishing.

Try to go to lodges on the Rio San Juan (border of Nicaragua and Costa Rica) and the Rio Colorado, then fly out.

3 weeks is not a lot of time for Nicaragua/Corn Islands, the Rio San Juan and Drake Bay.

Get the MOON Nicaragua and Costa Rica handbook.

Nicaragua: Diving on the Corn Islands, Fishing either off the islands or on the Rio San Juan, the Rio Indio Lodge is really good for this but very $$. You could also try El Castillo. White Water rafting on the Rio Paquera in Costa Rica. All this is on the Carribean Coast for both countries.
