I have heard conflicting information about either two or three daily buses from Moyogalpa to Mérida. The best info I've found says three buses leave Moyogalpa, at 8am, 2:30pm, and 4:30pm. The return trip from Mérida to Moyogalpa is a 4am, 8:30am and 3pm. Can anyone who has been on the island recently verify this? Also, do all the buses from Moyogalpa to Mérida go to Altagracia first before going 'off-road' to the south? Thanks.

Yes, the bus departures are right. Fraom Merida to Moyogalpa the bus leaves Merida 9 am in the morning. But never rely completely on these times, be there 30 minutes earlier and calculate to maybe wait 20 or 30 minutes or more.
All buses from Moyo to Merida go via Altagracia and vice versa of course the same. I have been there about 3 weeks ago.
