Hi everyone!
I'll be making a trip to Nicaragua in January with my boyfriend. We are both seasoned travelers but have not traveled together before. We were chatting tonight and the question came up about how open we can be in Nicaragua. My understanding is that people are reasonably accepting, but we probably shouldn't hold hands or kiss in public. Another concern is lodging. Should we opt for a room with two beds versus one queen sized bed? I welcome any thoughts on the topic!
PS It's a shame Lonely Planet gave the old LGBT section of Thorn Tree the ax. It was a great resource for these type of questions. Alas, I digress..
