English football in Leon/Las Penitas?

I can't help with the football but Las Penitas has hotels on the beach (we stayed at Oasis, basic but right on the beach and nice patio and Sol y Mar, a bed and breakfast, nice people, great sundeck, nice house, it is more like a homestay). There is also Barca de Oro, on the estuary, short walk to the beach. Las Penitas is a fishing village with a nice beach and fun waves. There is also Juan Venado, a nature reserve where you can go kayaking, go on a boat tour and go on an evening sea turtle tour in season (August to December). There is also a surf school. A few restaurants and bars. We liked the comedor a few doors down from Oasis. Large patio. Usually only locals. Very slow service but cheap and delicious food. Try the fish soup if they have it. Las Penitas is a 30 to 45 minute bus ride from mercado Sutiava in Leon.

Sure you'll find something in Leon, just walk around and ask

You can catch nearly any sort of sports show at Playa Roca Beach in Las Penitas
They have a big screen TV that they will bring out for guests or customers at the bar/restaurant
