January is the dry season so you should be good. As for the 10 days, it all depends what your into. I could stay there for a few years, but that's me. If your looking for nite life, your at the wrong place. If your looking for an undiscovered Caribbean Island, you found it!! Nice friendly people, good food and rum. Lots of nice beaches to hang on, especially Picnic Center on Big Corn for swimming. Good place to chill.
