We're planning to visit the little corn Island near the end of januari.

What would be the best way to get accomodation? Do we have to book something in advance or can you just show up and find a place to stay there and then?

You can just show up and get a place there, you'll get met by people offering you accommodation when you get off the boat. Your big decision will be to stay on the pet side of the island near the bars and restaurants (not many - it's still chilled) or be more isolated but by the best beaches on the other side of the island. Don't worry too much, you can walk anywhere on the island in around 45 minutes although you should take a torch at night.
