Does anyone know if it is possible to drive from the airport in San Pedro Sula to the road that leads to La Entrada without having to drive through downtown San Pedro Sula?
Does the road that passes by the Estadio Olimpico Metropolitano connect to CA 5? On Google Maps it appears that this road was still under construction.

We just returned from a 2-week driving vacation in Honduras. We had the same objective ... heading out directly from the SPS airport toward Copan Ruinas. We didn't plan well enough and the roads are not well marked, so we ended up doing a random driving tour of downtown SPS. Not a big problem. But in retrospect, I wish we had headed south along the Autopista (towards La Lima) for a couple of km, then west along Carretera MS Secundaria. It doesn't look like it is paved, but it would definitely allow you to avoid SPS.
