Things have changed in West End since I was there last. Its always been budget concious but the Galexy was 50% off, Air back to La Ceiba was $30. I guess the economy has finally cought up. Resturants were all offering specials and room rates are way down. One tip I pcked up this visit was taxi's work for commision so they will take you to the hotel that pays them the most. You're best option is to get out of the cab in town and walk around a bit.
