Hello,
I am traveling to Honduras in early January and am interested in traveling to Utila. I understand there are regular cheap flights from La Ceiba. Is it possible to pre-book these (and if so, what is the website) or do you just show up and book from the airport? Also, La Ceiba is quite far out of my way, are there also flights offered from Tegucigalpa for cheap? Any information would be great.
Thanks in advance,
Travis

I'm sorry I can't help with current specifics - used to be Atlantic and Sosa flew to Utila but I'm not sure if they still even exist. Taca and Taca's local branch, Isleña, haven't flown there in our experience. We were last on Utila in 2008 and, though there were scheduled flights, they weren't frequent - a few days a week at specific times. Also, they're not cheap - ~$115 one way from San Pedro Sula back then through La Ceiba, likely more now and maybe still more from Tegus. Lots of flights to Roatán, though. Please let us know if you uncover other providers and current schedule information.
