Here's the latest from Honduras - a pact signed by Micheletti and Zalaya that would create a power-sharing government and bind both sides to recognize the Nov. 29 presidential elections.

Strange that Zelaya agrees to a congressional vote on whether to restore him to the presidency--when the same people voted 109-5 (or something like that) to boot him out just 4 months ago. I'm interested to see what he'll do if he loses the vote.

Unfortunately it looks like the agreement is beginning to unravel - which is lowering my enthusiasm for a December visit....argh.
