Hi,

Can anyone tell me are the borders open to Honduras at present?
We will probably be crossing in from either Guatemala or El Salvador and exiting to Nicaragua.

lots of mixed reports on the web about the situation there right now.

What mixed reports?

There have not been any issues concerning borders and foreigners, nor the busses going between the capitols other than when the crescendo of protest hit a few months ago and the airport/borders closed for 48 hours.

Make sure you make it out to Utila , party scene is great, diving is cool (I suggest Altons Dive centre) and some great places to eat (I love The Indian Wok Indian and Asian food)!
