Thanks for all your help guys.
Being as I was on hols rather than travelling, time was more important than cash, so ended up flying everywhere, including a couple of private charters - not something I'd have done when backpacking but very cool taking the co-pilots seat of a little Cessna!
Morgans Travel in Utila did a great job of sorting everything out.
