entry requirements for honduras..return ticket??

hi guys, im an australian flying into san pedro sula from the states with a one way ticket. ive heard many different things regarding requirements for entering honduras by air one of them being proof of an onward ticket out of the country. does anyone know whats going on here??? ive heard this sort of thing before but managed to get around it in thailand does anyone have any experience with this in honduras? whats the best way around it? any help would be amazing ;) thanks
