Hi everybody,

I am planning to go to Guatemala this christmas, but I need some help.
I have few questions:
1- Is there a shuttle from Flores to Rio Dulce (if yes, how much and hours)?
2- Is there a way to kayak from Rio Dulce to Livingston, or am I completely crazy?!!
3- I want to visit San Felipe castle and Las Rscobas waterfalls, is there a way to go without an expensive tour travel? Like by myself?
4- Is it better to sleep at Livingston or at Puerto Barrios?

are their any dvd movie rental stores in panajechel and if so do they have a decent selection with recent titles?

could any one tell me how long you have to be out of guatemala before returning to get another 90 days also what mexican town is best to spend the night if that is required. if you left pana on a early morning bus when would the earliest be that you could return.

I am planning a trip to Guatemala at the end of the month. I'll be arriving at Guatemala City around 9 pm.

Can anyone tell me what the best option is ?

1. Spend a night in Guatemala city and leave the next day ?
2. Immediately take a shuttle from the airport to Antigua ? Are there shuttles at any time of the day/night ?

When entering Guatemala from Mexico do you fill out the same “Registro Migratorio” form that you do when you enter by air? Just curious.

I was just in Guatemala, Copan, Chiapas and Yucatan for a couple months, had a wonderful time, fell in love. There was a particular style of shirt I found just about everywhere, kind of a generic new-age/hippy pattern on flat color cotton shirts with open v-neck, and same pattern on cuffs. They were ubiquitous and I assume they are machine made or mass produced somewhere. There were also many of same and similar items for children that were adorable. I saw them in Antigua, Pana, San…

Going to be in Guatemala in January (not during the new year rush). We are wondering if it is worth it to stay in Guat City the first nite, we prob will get in around 1230 pm, or head rite to antigua??

Secondly, is it worth it to spend a few days on either coast or would it be better to go to the cayes in belize for 4 nites? This would be mostly for relaxing as opposed to doing loads of activities, although small forays into forests/caving/tubing is something we would like.

Im in Xela now and it´s great, but how do I get from here to San Pedro La Laguna? I have the LP 3rd edition but it doesn`t say anything about this. It does however say that there is a bus from SP to Xela. It´s caled Veloz San Pedro, but I can´t find it on the internet. Do you know anything about this bus and where to get it from (it seems that many smaller buscompanies have their stops spread around the city, but where???? Or do you know another easy way to get to SP
