Weather in San Pedro is within a really nice range year round as far as temperature is concerned. Lots of nice cool nights that sometimes require a sweater or medium weight jacket and lots of very nice, warm days. It can be really muggy during rainy season which is the case now. The rains, when they are predictable, occur in the late afternoons for hours at a time. Otherwise they just go on and on or pop up when you least expect them. Yesterday in the early afternoon I was in a shuttle-van near Xela (about 3 or 4 hours away from San Pedro and 2000 feet higher in elevation) and it was raining like crazy. From the shuttle I called my brother who was at the lake and he told me it had been sunny and nice all day. A couple hours later it started to rain like crazy there. The rains change a lot, but the temperature feels like eternal spring.
