Hi Everyone-
I was wondering what the weather is typically like in December. I am planning on going to Gaut. Dec. 28- Jan 22 and plan on traveling across the country. Thanks so much.

Been to Antigua/Lake Atitlan a few times in January, heading back again 1/2008.
Wake up and throw a fleece on for breakfast, then lose it pretty quick.
Daytime is like spring, t-shirt is all you need.
Need a sweater/light jacket, or both in the evening as temps drop down to about 50 at times.
Not much at all in the way of rain.

In the coastal areas (atlantic and pacific) nice weather about 90 or so degrees on day time and at night time it gets alittle bit cooler.
In the highlands is much cooler, may be 60 degress or so.
So, there you have it.

I was in GC (5,000 feet)the last week of October and the temperature had started to drop at night which also made for some chilly mornings. So, they're expecting this dry season to be cooler than normal specially in the highlands(5-8,000 feet above sea level). But of course it's always sunny and warm during the day. Good luck.
