Dear all,

I'm looking for a house for rent for 2 nights in November for 6 adults and 2 kids (perhaps 4). Price range between $100 to $200 per night. If you know a place or a website please let me know.

Cheers,

What about a nice Posada Hotel with a share kitchen? It would make a lot more sense...for just 2 nights.

Did you check Booking Buddy, Expedia or Trip Advisor, hundred of great options for a family, small intimate, rustic charming lodging everywhere.

Agree with mtmoto, you can get rooms for about $30 a night and if you were to get 3 or 4 rooms you'd be spending about $180 to $220 for two nights.

I'm having a family trip for 2 days. My family lives at Guatemala city and my father and me abroad. We want to be in the same house with them. I think my request makes more sense with this info right?

The request makes sense its just that most houses rent for longer minimum periods than 2 days- its just not worth the clean up. You could get lucky though....

Check AirBnB and VRBO, but only two days could be the issue, and the clean up fee higher. But many of the small Posadas are small boutique hotels, with 5-8 rooms total, you take a wing, or upstairs, or courtyard, and its all the same. Get one with free breakfast to make life even easier...

We stayed in a very charming one with wood floors, beamed cathedral ceilings, old antique furniture and hand loomed rugs and beds spreads,,, Huge rooms and spanish tile baths...$40

The vacation rental sites Airbnb or VRBO should have something to suit your needs in your price range.

They both specialize in short term rental properties.

I use http://www.novantigua.com/ when renting a place in Antigua. They list a few short term rentals.

Thank you for your tips. I found a beautiful house for a short period of time at VRBO. :)
