Has anyone done the 3 day/ 2 night hike from Quetzaltenango to Lago di Atitlan with kids? Our kids are 10 and 11 and have done a fair bit of hiking and ski-touring in Australia (10-12 km/day) and we did the Ghorepani-Poon Hill trek in Nepal 2 years ago - so they're reasonable walkers. But with what looks like a bit of change in altitude and 45 km over 3 days, I'm just wondering whether it might be too hard for them? Would appreciate advice from anyone who's done it recently with kids roughly their age.
Thanks
