Hola / G'day

I'm currently living in Panajachel where I'm studying Spanish intensively with a dream to one day hold a meaningful conversation in a second language! While I'm developing this skill I'm thinking that it would be great to do one of those other things I've always wanted to to : learn to play the guitar. So, what I was wondering is: does anyone know of a good guitar teacher in Pana? I don't have a guitar and I don't really want to buy one, so..I'm hoping there is a teacher out there who is able to load or rent out a guitar for a few months. I'd prefer a female teacher but understand this may be asking the impossible [or maybe not?]

And another thing, as I have a bit of time on my hands I am also looking for a volunteer position. I have volunteered in India and Thailand [mainly teaching English and caring for infants]. I'm open to experience anything new, so if anyone knows of anything I'd really value any tips or info.

Cheers

To volunteer you might want to check out mayanfamilies.org which is based in Pana and seems to do fantastic work. If you do work with them I 'd love to hear about it since I'm planning to do some this summer.
