Hello All,
I have a flight to Miami at 650 am on a Monday. I will be in Antigua the whole weekend and I am debating whether to spend the last night in Antigua and try to get an early shuttle, or spend the last night at a guesthoues in Zona 13.
I'd much rather stay in Antigua, but I am worrying about getting a shuttle at 4am...Has anybody done it? Have the shuttles been on time?

Thank you so much for your suggestions and help!

I had no problem with 4 am shuttle on June 5th. I used Universal Travel Agency--1a Calle Poniente No. 22 'A'--Tele 7820-3019/5532-3274. Cost was 30Q.

I had to get up at 3am once to catch a 4am shuttle and I was there on times and got my flight home.

The zone 13 hotels are in a residential neighborhood and are best for late arrivals in Guate, who have no wish to do anything but sleep. On the other hand, if you stayed in Zone 10, there is night life and there are restaurants you can walk to in reasonable safety, and it is not far from the airport. You can also sleep quite a bit later than if you were way off in Antigua.

Google Xamanek Student Inn for a great place to stay.

Yeap. I got a 4am shuttle and worked out just fine... except for the hangover from the previous night farewell! ;)

THe tourist agencies do this all the time: take people to catch early flights...of the ten or so times I have done this it has always worked fine. YOu are used to it but they are, I assure you.

We caught a 5:00am shuttle from Antigua to GC last summer to catch a flight home. No problem. I'd do it. Tourism is their lifeblood. I'm sure it will be reliable.
