I've visited Casa Del Mundo and find it charming! Not a night life kind of place but very nice accommodations and there is a lot to see and more that is easy to get to from there.

I will also be in Panajachel house sitting for Christmas through to New Year. I'm Australian and hopefully will find somewhere around there for Christmas eve and day. I've heard that there will be plenty of celebrations with fireworks in the town. So should be fun but anyone with ideas, I would love to know.
