I know its hard to spot them, and you have to be lucky, but I wonder where in costa rica is it best opportunites to spot jaguar in costa rica? Ive read Corcovado. Is there any place where you could take a tour at the caribeeans coast and have some chances?

I plan on taking a two week trip to CR in January. I was wondering what i should expect budget wise. I was thinking of sticking to La Fortuna, Monteverde, and Manuel Antonio so i can get a few days in each! I intend to stay in mostly hostels and possibly an airbnb once. i plan on exploring the cloud forests, beaches, and waterfalls for the most part.
