Hi
I am planning on spending a month (from early-mid July) in Costa Rica learning Spanish, and have read the postings about language schools (there's so many!!) - I have provisionally opted for the don Quijote school (mainly because I can enrol with them to study in both Peru and Costa Rica).
Has anyone had any dealings with this school - or perhaps you could direct me to an alternative school which allows you to study in both countries?
Also this school has colleges in Monteverde, Heredia and…
Hello,
Some years ago we stayes in San Jose CR in a place call something with 'banderas' in it. I can not find it on the internet any more. But we want to be in contact with the owners, one is called Rene I guess and is from CR (bit black man) and the other is from the USA. They were a gay couple that time.
Who knows them or this place?
Thanks ALbert
Hello guys!
We have been 3 weeks in CR 4 years ago. We saw many countries is the world but CR we like it too much. Therefore we want to go back:
- flight to San Jose
- flight to Qepos (Manuel Antonio) from there to
- Corcovado because this place is the only Parc we did not see (after we go on to Panama first time). All the other National Parcs in CR we have been visiting ourselves with a normal car. This is the way we like it most. But:
1. is that also possible in Corcovado in november? what about…
Any suggestions regarding our itinerary would be greatly appreciated..........Gracias

Im thinking of renting a car while in Costa Rica. Is it hard to drive around the country? Is it easy to find places? Would the public transportation be better? Im going to places like, Playa Hermosa and San Jose and Manuel Antonio.....

Hey!
We are planning a trip for Feb/March 2008 starting in San Jose, Costa Rica and hopefully going through Panama, Colombia, Ecuador and ending at Lima, Peru to fly home.
Does anyone have any estimates on how many weeks this would take?
We are hoping to do it in 7 weeks, is that feasible?
Thanks so much!

I've been really excited about spending a couple of days in Montezuma this August. The itinerary I plan on using has me there on a Wednesday and Thursday. But I just read a post saying it'll be dead weekdays in the rainy season. Really? Should I try to rearrange things so I'm there on the weekend? (I'm not sure I can.) I was hoping to meet other travelers and/or locals. So what can you tell me about Montezuma? (It sounds and looks beautiful--the town, the beach, the waterfalls.) Also…
hey folks
we have been advised Jaco is the only easy place to get boards in CR...is this true? we can all surf so are looking for decent waves, not beginner waves...and it sounds like Jaco isnt best place to visit, so if there is somewhere with good waves that we can pick up boards also, any advice would obviously be appreciated...
also, should we be getting into the malaria drugs on the pacific side?
thanks
