Thanks Jo Ann,,,,
He is enjoying Monsoon season I am sure...

OK--
I guess there was a post from people wondering where I'm off to and why I haven't checked in as I usually do.
This branch is to be about CA travel advice, so here goes until RomanB kicks this off:
1) It's illegal to wear sunglasses or a baseball hat into a bank in Costa Rica.
2) The Pinto Gallo at the restaraunt in PV remains the best breakfast I've had.
Now that said, I'm still in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, teaching English. I just finished my second semester and my contract ends next month. I am up for renewal, though I am looking at possibilities either in SEA or a possibility back in CR (my TESOL certificate is good in 40 countries.) The last year+ has been an adventure and it continues.
Now lets see:
1) EffieL: I'll never forgive you for that offkey version of the Bob Marley song you tortured me with in Bocas. I'll figure some revenge though, and you'll regret the day.
2) Scoot: You'll be glad to hear that there's a thriving industry manufacturing Marcia Brady beach towels here in Cambodia. I've already ordered up 144 of them for you. Do you want them shipped to Coldsville or to your digs in CR?
3) Ticotim: What you're up to something like 27,500 posts now? Really, get outside and do something. You're in front of the computer too much.
4) Rexman: Loved the underwater pictures from the Philippines you put up. Look forward to the next round.
5) Maire: I hope you and the hounds are doing well.
OK, I know wasn't a topic here, but I was asked how I was doing. Sorry I'm not checking in so much, but since I'm on the other side of the globe I don't have too much to offer about traveling in CA. And since this post is way off subject, I'm sure it'll be deleted shortly.
Happy travels all.

Hey Bob. Good to hear that all is well. Hadn't received an e-mail for a while and was getting concerned. You can send the Tees to Coldsvile. I waited on a street corner for my cordless drill from you a few years ago in CR. That wasn't a very pleasant experience as the corner seemed to belong to a "street merchant".
Oh...one more thing. If you happen to spot any Bobby Sherman or Davy Jones vintage T-shirts, I'd like a few of those too. It's a surprise for BOOMER1 along with his Tetley.
Thanks for thinking of us.
