waterfalls and swiming pool

Were going to be in Tamarindo and would like to go to some waterfalls and pools to swim in a nearby forrest or jungle.
Any suggestions

No waterfalls nearby. Tenerio Celeste Waterfalls are well worth the 3 hour drive and overnight, great hiking too. The water is very cold in the waterfalls, but there is a area on the trail downstream where there is a Thermale and people have made a small rock area to lay in the hot water coming out of the rocks a few feet away.

Otherwise, for thermal pools and hot springs, you need to go to Rincon, but its a long hike to the waterfalls, or the Arenal Volcano area, where you have both Tobocan and Baldi Hot Springs.
