Travel by bus from panama to costa rica

I plan to travel by bus (TicaBus?) from Panama to Esperanza in Costa Rica. Does anyone have any info on this.

Esperanza CR is near Playa Samara, which is 6 hours from San Jose. Tica Bus runs from Panama City Panama, to San Jose Costa Rica, about 19 hour journey with border crossings.

Are you only going to see Panama through a bus window to border, or are you elsewhere in Panama?

There are local buses you can take as well, if you happen to be near the border, without going from PC...

Otherwise, once in San Jose, you need to get a bus to Samara.

hello again, does Samara a nice must see beach? I can stop there prior to continue my journey to PC. No need to complete the trip in one go.thanks.
